Hb 12, 3 Jesus suffered so many contradictions
(Hb 12, 3) Jesus suffered so many contradictions
[3] Think of Jesus who suffered so many contradictions from bad people, and not lack the strength or courage.
(CIC 569) Jesus has gone up to Jerusalem voluntarily, knowing well that there would die a violent death because of the contradiction of sinners (cf. Heb 12.3). (CIC 557) "As the days went his inauguration, he said in his willingness to go to Jerusalem" (Lk 9 51, cf. Jn 13, 1). For this decision, stated that up to Jerusalem prepared to die. Three times he repeated the announcement of his Passion and Resurrection (cf. Mk 8, 31-33, 9, 31-32, 10, 32-34). In addressing Jerusalem says: "There is a prophet perish outside of Jerusalem" (Lk 13, 33). (CIC 598) The Church in the teachings of their faith and witness of the saints, has never forgotten that "sinners were the authors themselves and as tools for all the pain he endured the divine Redeemer" ( Roman Catechism I, 5, 11, cf. Hb 12, 3). Given that our sins reach to Christ himself (cf. Mt 25 45, Acts 9: 4-5), the Church does not hesitate to impute to Christians the gravest responsibility in the death of Jesus, responsibility which they too often have overwhelmed the Jews only: "We must regard as guilty of this horrible misses those who continue to fall on their sins. Since they are our evil deeds that have made our Lord Christ suffer the torment of the cross, without any doubt that plunge into disorder and evil "hand crucify again the Son of God and expose public disgrace (Hebrews 6, 6). And we must recognize that our crime in this case is larger than that of the Jews. For according to the testimony of the Apostle " to have known him ever they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory " (1 Cor 2, 8). We, however, we profess to know him. And when it denied him with our actions, somehow put our hands on the criminals "(Roman Catechism 1, 5, 11). "And the devils are those who have crucified them you who have crucified him and crucify you keep still, delighting in vices and sins" (San Francisco de Asis, Admonitio 5, 3).
